What is the race alike?

Put it simply: you go out, do your efforts with a power meter, upload a racing file and every race has a leaderboard for the general winner classification, but also a sprinter and a climber jersey is allocated.

Longer version: You select either a 3 or 1 hour race during the weekend or a Time Trial race on Wednesday. You get your Roadbook. In the Roadbook you find the exact order, amount and duration of each effort which you have to perform during the race. You come home, download a FIT file of your race, upload it to your account. Our system does the “magic” and we have a leaderboard for each race.

How can I participate in a ride?

You have to select your race date and duration from the racing calendar. Make the payment (or get it free!), receive the Roadbook and you’re ready to go!

Where do I get my Roadbook?

If you register and are confirmed to race the Roadbook will be uploaded to your profile under the racing section.

Which payment methods do you accept?

You can pay by credit card or PayPal.

Do I have to weigh myself before the race?

Yes. Weigh yourself with your cycling clothes on. Please, keep up to date weight information on your profile because we use it to calculate the relative power from the racing file. If you are the lucky one to win a prize money you have to verify your weight to us by sending a video of your weighing procedure. Plus-minus 2 kg (4.5 lbs) is an acceptable range.

Can I ride indoors?

Yes. Even though you probably would prefer riding outside, life is seldom perfect - it’s better to ride indoors than not to ride at all.

Where can I download structured workout files?

Structured workout files will be uploaded to your account next to the Roadbook.

What should I do before the race?

You want to be sure you have all the necessary data about the order, quantification and duration of the efforts. Either you print out a cheat sheet from the Roadbook and stick it on your bike or download a structured workout file or memorize it (good luck with that!).
Be well hydrated and fed.

DURING

Does the order and number and duration of the efforts count? What  happens if I make a mistake?

Yes. All the efforts must be in the same order and same amount as described in Roadbook. If you don't follow the exact order of the given efforts, it means that you got lost from the course and will be marked as DNF in the final results.

What if I have a puncture? Or I have to stop for a moment.

In a 3 hour race you may take 1*2 min and 1*10 min break if absolutely necessary and for 1 hour race you can take 1*2 min break. There are no breaks allowed in Time Trial races. If you need and are able to, just start a new race file. If the time limit is not kept or there are too many breaks you have a DNF in the final results.

"Super Gregario is like a game where you must plan your ride and make your tactics before the race, it's not about pushing the maximum out of yourself the whole ride. Like in the real race, the hard moments count more and overall general AVG power a bit less."
